Protocol ≠ gateway
The portable rulebook: tool names, schemas, retail semantics, pricing disclosures, trust fields, and conformance requirements.

Use the gateway →Anyone can implement Dealer Agent Protocol. This gateway is one operated implementation—not the protocol itself.
01 / Capability surface
The public pilot exposes six experimental retail-read tools. Each response keeps the rooftop, source, observation time, authority, and uncertainty attached; it does not claim full Core conformance.
dealeragent.discovery.get_manifestDiscover profiles, scopes, resources, and conformance evidence.
dealeragent.dealer.getResolve the dealer organization and its retail rooftops.
dealeragent.inventory.searchSearch dealer-published vehicles with typed filters and cursors.
dealeragent.inventory.get_vehicleRead one vehicle without treating the listing as a promise.
dealeragent.inventory.verify_availabilityReturn the latest evidence and require a human check until a real-time authority is connected.
dealeragent.pricing.get_disclosureSeparate advertised price, required charges, and conditional offers.
02 / Trust boundary
The Gateway connects to approved inventory sources and can add authoritative pricing and availability sources as dealers provide them. Agents receive normalized retail facts—not generic access to operational systems.

03 / Connect
This public endpoint serves Howard Bentley Buick GMC’s dealer-authorized daily retail inventory. It exposes public vehicle facts and photos, records privacy-filtered query receipts, and never exposes customer records or dealer-private inventory age.

04 / Open project
The open protocol and public reference materials use Apache-2.0. The operated service has a separate responsibility: securely serving enrolled dealers’ approved retail data.
Reference software, specifications, schemas, tests, and documentation include an explicit patent grant.
